Courtney’s pub is nestled in the heart of Lucan Village. The establishment enjoys traditional music and entertainment throughout the year under its distinctive thatched roof.

The summer sun can be enjoyed in a three-tiered beer garden and riverside terrace, while the winter winds are kept at bay by hearty wood-burning fires.

The walls of the bar & lounge are adorned with the history and culture of Ireland, and its people.

The sports bar is impressive with plenty of tvs to enjoy every sport possible. I am very impressed with the selection of beers, with plenty of craft beers on tap and in the fridge. It stocks a large variety of gin and whisky with a good wine selection to suit your wallet. The smoking area is impressive, with an outside bar and more big screen tvs. A few heaters wouldn't be a bad addition over the winter months and the usually wonderful Irish summer.

I would have given this 5 stars only two things let them down. No car park! And they not make a good Irish coffee. Firstly my Irish coffee was served in a latte glass, secondly the cream had sunk before I even tasted it, it looked more like a hot chocolate with a blob of cream on top.

Booked a 40th here. Very well run pub and Ashling(dealt with booking) was super friendly and great to deal with. Other staff very friendly too on night. Really enjoyed time there.
